Drop In Coffee Mornings

The Harbour Pub, Foryd Road, Rhyl, LL18 5BA

2 December 2026

New Drop-In Coffee Mornings Launching in Rhyl! A friendly place to talk, listen and get support. The North Wales Prostate Cancer Support Group (NWPCSG) is delighted to announce the launch of its new Drop-In Coffee Mornings, beginning on Wednesday 2nd December 2026. Held every fortnight at The Harbour Pub, Kinmel Bay, these informal gatherings will provide a welcoming and relaxed environment for men affected by prostate cancer, their partners, families and anyone wishing to learn more about the disease. A cup of coffee can be the start of a conversation that makes a difference. A diagnosis of prostate cancer can raise many questions and concerns. For men undergoing treatment, those who have completed treatment, and the people supporting them, having someone to talk to who understands can make a real difference. Our coffee mornings are designed to bring people together, encourage conversation and help ensure that nobody feels they have to navigate their prostate cancer journey alone. Members of the North Wales Prostate Cancer Support Group will be on hand to offer a friendly welcome, share their experiences, provide information and signpost visitors to appropriate support services. Whether you want to talk about your experiences, ask questions, find out more about prostate cancer or simply enjoy a friendly chat over a cup of tea or coffee, you will be made very welcome. What can you expect? A warm welcome: Meet members of our Support Group in a relaxed, informal setting. Peer support: Talk to other men and partners who understand the challenges that prostate cancer can bring. Information and guidance: Find out more about prostate cancer, PSA testing and available support services. Conversation without pressure: Talk as much or as little as you wish. Free refreshments: Enjoy complimentary tea and coffee during your visit. Who can attend? Everyone is welcome! You do not need to have been diagnosed with prostate cancer, and you do not need to be a member of our Support Group. We welcome men who have been diagnosed, those currently undergoing treatment, men who have completed treatment, partners, family members, carers and anyone who would like to find out more about prostate cancer or the support available across North Wales. Event details Venue: The Harbour Pub, Foryd Road, Kinmel Bay, Rhyl, LL18 5BA First meeting: Wednesday 2nd December 2026 Frequency: Every fortnight on a Wednesday Time: 10.30am – 12.30pm Refreshments: Free tea and coffee Working together to support our community These coffee mornings are being delivered in partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support and Greene King, helping us create an accessible and welcoming opportunity for people affected by cancer to connect with others in their local community. The North Wales Prostate Cancer Support Group is committed to providing information, encouragement, peer support and signposting for men affected by prostate cancer and those closest to them. We know that asking for support can sometimes be difficult. Our aim is to make that first step as easy and welcoming as possible. Come along for a chat! You do not need to book or prepare anything. Simply pop in, introduce yourself and enjoy a cuppa with us. You may arrive with questions, concerns or simply a desire to meet new people.
