Invite a free prostate cancer awareness talk to your group

Prostate Cancer awareness talks.
Have you ever thought about inviting guest speakers to talk to your group about prostate cancer awareness and the risks for men aged 40 and over? Understanding the risks can be especially important if prostate, breast or ovarian cancer has affected someone in your family. The North Wales Prostate Cancer Support Group (NWPCSG) offers free, informative and engaging presentations to workplaces, community groups, organisations and clubs across North Wales. Our talks cover prostate cancer risks, signs and symptoms, the importance of the PSA test, real stories and open discussion, as well as practical advice and signposting to support. We’d be pleased to hear from groups of all kinds, including Lions, Royal British Legion branches, Round Table and Rotary clubs, golf and cricket clubs, Women’s Institutes, Men’s Sheds, local businesses, staff groups and community associations. If you bring people together, a talk can be a valuable way to start an important conversation. Prostate cancer affects men and the people close to them. Raising awareness can help people understand their risks and make informed decisions about seeking advice. If your group would like to host a free presentation, please get in touch.
